Brewers Week 4

Liking: Craig Counsell. This guy has been a spark off the bench and in spot starts. Has some great clutch hits and provides valuable veteran leadership. A perfect bench player.

Hating: Doug Davis. Can't blame Doug Melvin too much for signing him this offseason cause Davis had decent numbers last year, but he's been a disaster this year. Really glad he's just on a one year contract, hopefully he doesn't kill us too much now that we have some positive momentum.

Apprehensive: Alcides Escobar. He's had a rough start to his first full season in the majors. Too many defensive mistakes for someone who was supposed to play great defense and he's struggling a bit at the plate too. Hopefully he can learn to be a bit more patient and let the game come to him. Looks like he's trying too hard right now.

Loving: Ryan Braun. This guy just keeps hitting. He's putting up great numbers and is the biggest reason our offense is scoring so many runs. He's also made some great plays in the field that have won games for us.

What looked like a disastrous road trip at the start, ended up looking pretty darn good as we won 6 of 10 games. We're still one game below .500 but look to be starting to click as a team. We get a struggling Braves team then a good Phillies team this week so hopefully we can win 3 or 4 games on this home stand.
